Crotia -120

This will be an easy game for Crotia. They are the dark horses of this tournment, they defeated England to get into the tournment. Austria is god awful and only made the tournment because they are the hosts. They have not played a serious game since 2005 when they were qualifing for the world cup. I think crotia is the best bet of the first round for the value against an austrian team with no stars.

I don't think it will be an easy game, but I think Croatia will eventually prevail. Despite losing Eduardo Da Silva, I think Croatia has plenty of talent up front to compensate for his loss (although obviously not entirely). Most importantly, Croatia has shown the ability to win on the road in hostile environments. If not for being a host, Austria has no business being in the tournament. They will probably feed off the crowd early, but Croatia should take control of the game. I don't expect a blowout, but more of a solid 1-0 or 2-0 victory.

Croatia is one of the most undervalued teams in the tournament.

As for your price of -120, you can get much better if you shop around. Lots of books are showing between even money and -110.

I think this is the easiest game in the first round. Maybe i will eat my words but austria has no right being in this tournment. They look like they could be beat by a U21 team. I know friendlies dont mean much but i think crotia is to much to handle for them

Expect a high scoring game with Croatia snatching the win, maybe 3-1 or 4-2 something along the way of the latvia vs Czech Republic in 2004. Austria has some dignity and should score first, Croatia´s defense is not that good so expect an early lead by the host fallowed but a croatian hurricane. Croatia and over is the way to go....
